With all the press surrounding the upcoming Programming Erlang book, it’s worth mentioning that the Erlang Cookbook, a wiki-based collection of Erlang how-to’s, has been around for a few years now and worth a serious look for Erlang newcomers. Unlike many such projects, the cookbook is well written, generally complete, and covers a variety of fundamental topics: manipulating hashes, file I/O, regular expressions and strings, etc.
